Our Design
A New Concept for a Classic Tool
The rod weeder is a defender of soil which can be used for strategic, surgical tillage. It prevents moving or inverting large amounts of soil such as the case with a more aggressive tool such as a high speed tiller or disk. The rod weeder undercuts, leaving the residue as soil armor on the surface. Soil underneath the rod is firmed to create an ideal seedbed and breaks down capillaries which prevent the loss of moisture to evaporation. Soil above the rod creates a dry surface mulch which dries quickly and prevents weeds from germinating. Goose Creek Industries has designed and built a modern rod weeder, a re-invention of the classic farm implement. The ground following design flexes to ensure proper coverage through undulating hills and valleys.
Heavy Duty Frame Construction
The tillage unit consists of a series of 7’ (2.13M) rod weeder modules. The heavy hitch and rear fold frame is designed in 70', 84' and 98' widths. Wing fold frame is designed in 42' and 56' widths.

Our hyFlexx Rod Module allows maximum trash through with minimum soil disturbance reducing chance of erosion and maintaining soil structure, while the powerful rod uproots even the largest perennial weeds.

Goose Creek Industries
Goose Creek Industries is a family owned business based on an organic farm near Rockglen, Saskatchewan. Tyler Remoué and Kalissa Regier own and operate Remoué Family Farms, a 4800 acre organic farm which produces cereals, pulse crops and oilseeds for the domestic and international markets. They live on the farm with their 3 kids, Annika, Theo and Felix. The farm was established in 1911 by Marie Remoué, Tyler's great-grandmother and is situated south of the Goose Creek around the Poplar River in Southern Saskatchewan, Canada.
